
NIF HackDay aims to solve significant and real problems from stakeholders in Indonesia. We use this opportunity to induce innovative idea generation and grow entrepreneurship spirit among our members
1st HackDay: Healthcare
On the 10th February 2018, NIF has successfully gather top Indonesian talents in the UK from various disciplines to attend our very first hackday. This event focused on the development of healthcare innovation to tackle current Healthcare challenges in Indonesia. With the mentorship from Haikal Abadi, CEO of GRAKN.ai, and other senior practitioners, participants learned how to develop lean canvas, pitfall of a startup, idea validation and product market fit.

This hackdays successfully created 4 innovative healthcare ideas, which are: 1. Innovative approach to screen diabetes 2. Online queuing system for health facilities 3. Apps to help hospital accreditation 4. Automated cancer queueing system. All of the idea has been pitched among audiences and gained valuable feedback from various perspectives.

In the future, NIF aims to hold more HackDays to bring more impactful innovation from the UK to Indonesia to tackle Indonesia's problems.

2nd HackDay: Education
This year we focus on solving education problems in Indonesia.
The topics to choose include, but not limited to:
1. Literacy
2. Teachers
3. Multicultural Education
4. Health Education
5. Education Policy
(Participants can propose other topics, if necessary)
